A three day seminar was held in Malabo addressing the AIDS in Equatorial Guinea. Multiple
organizations and government representatives met to learn how to fight and
prevent the spread of AIDS.
The seminar was broken down in blocks and helped raise
awareness about the epidemic. It
also aimed to help organizations figure out their roles in AIDS prevention.
Ramón Bongono, the Presidential Advisor on Social Affairs,
reminded everyone that the desires of the government, UNICEF, and organizations
all rely on a team effort if they want to manage and combat the AIDS epidemic.
